Dyslexia may well be the cause of these issues.
You may sense that self esteem is low. Your child may be becoming fretful and withdrawn, and the school reading book or homework may be the catalyst for tears or tantrums. Your child may be being bullied because of their differences. Dyslexia can be behind reluctance to attend school, behavioural problems in class, and even exclusion.
